Indian officers praying for recovery of Edward VII, 1902
Indian officers, in London to take part in the Coronation procession of King Edward VII, spontaneously go to pray in the field opposite Fulham Palace, when they receive the news that the king has been taken ill with appendicitis just two days before his Coronation. He thankfully recovered and his Coronation took place six weeks later. Date: 1902
