Funeral of Commander Gathorne-Hardy
Scene at the funeral of Commander the Hon Ralph Cecil North Gathorne-Hardy RN (1876-1911), a younger son of the late 2nd Earl of Cranbrook. He was buried at Benenden Church, Kent. His remains were borne to the grave by bluejackets from his ship, King Edward VII, a predreadnought battleship, of which he was Commander.
